What is a fire door survey?
A fire door survey is a structured inspection of fire doors, looking at visible condition, defects and practical next steps.

Use the same online calculator to check the estimated survey cost for straightforward fire door inspections up to 50 doors.
Larger sites, multiple buildings, difficult access or remedial works can still request a bespoke quote.
What it is used for
Landlords, managing agents, responsible persons and building owners use fire door surveys to understand whether doors appear damaged, poorly fitted, missing components or in need of remedial attention.
FDS reports are based on the visible standard survey scope selected at booking. Intrusive investigation, repairs and replacement parts are quoted separately.
What happens after the survey?
You receive a report to help decide what needs attention. Where suitable, FDS can also quote remedial works separately and provide a completion record for specified works carried out by FDS.
