Need repairs after a fire door survey? FDS can review your report, price suitable remedial works and provide a completion record for works carried out by us.
Send us your existing report and FDS can review whether the findings are suitable for a remedial works quote. This is useful for managing agents, landlords and responsible persons who already know which doors have been recorded as defective.
Remedial works, replacement parts, replacement doors and complex access are quoted separately. FDS does not take online payment for repair works through the survey calculator.

Repair pricing depends on the survey findings, access, parts, site conditions and whether the works are suitable for remedial treatment rather than replacement.
Some defects can be addressed through adjustment, repair or component replacement. Other findings may indicate that the door leaf, frame, glazing or wider installation needs replacement or further investigation.
FDS will avoid implying that repair work can certify the original doorset. Where replacement is more appropriate, this will be handled as a separate quote route.

Suitable remedial works are priced separately from the online survey checkout.
Agreed works are completed subject to access, parts, scope and site conditions.
Where FDS completes the works, a completion record can be issued for the specified works carried out by us.
When FDS completes remedial works, we can issue a completion record confirming the works carried out by us. This is not a manufacturer’s certificate for the original doorset, does not certify works carried out by others, and is not a replacement for original fire door certification, a fire risk assessment, or Building Control approval.
The record provides a practical note for responsible persons, landlords and managing agents showing that specified works have been completed by FDS.
